The Marco/ Nidek 560 is an auto refractor and a keratometer. It comes fully refurbished by an in house trained and certified technician. Each unit is inspected mechanically, optically, and even cosmetically with FREE lifetime phone support and a 6 month parts and service warranty.

The Marco Nidek ARK-560A is a highly accurate, automated autorefractor/keratometer that provides comprehensive measurements of the eye's refractive errors and corneal shape. It is enhanced with advanced technology to ensure reliable data, even for patients with cataracts or intraocular lenses (IOLs). 

Key Features and Functions:

• Autorefractor/Keratometer: The device combines functions to measure refraction and keratometry, providing data on sphere, cylinder, axis, and corneal curvature.

• SLD Technology: The use of a Super Luminescent Diode (SLD) results in sharper, clearer images compared to conventional LEDs, which significantly improves the ability to measure eyes with dense cataracts.

• Pupil Zone Imaging Method: This method analyzes a wider pupil area (up to 4 mm in diameter) to gather more reliable data that is closer to subjective refraction.

• Visual Acuity (VA) Measurement: A unique function allows for a quick comparison between a patient's current vision (unaided or with existing glasses) and their potential corrected vision, which helps in the demonstration of potential vision improvement.

• 3D Auto Tracking & Auto Shot: The system automatically aligns, tracks focus in the X, Y, and Z directions, and takes measurements, ensuring faster and simpler operation.

• Peripheral Keratometry: The ARK-560A can perform peripheral keratometric measurements (at 4 points with a 6 mm diameter), which is beneficial for contact lens fitting and corneal evaluations.

• User-Friendly Design: It features a clear, tilt able 5.7-inch color LCD display and a motorized chin rest for enhanced usability and patient comfort.

• Data Management: The unit includes a high-speed built-in printer with an auto-cutter and supports an optional Eye Care Card system for easy data transfer.
