The Marco Nidek ARK-500A is an ophthalmic device that functions as an autorefractor/keratometer, used to objectively measure a patient's refractive errors and corneal curvature. These measurements aid eye care professionals in determining prescriptions for glasses, contact lenses, and intraocular lenses after cataract surgery.
