The Topcon IS-5500 Instrument Stand is a compact, durable examination unit featuring an illuminated, liquid-proof membrane control panel, an LED overhead lamp, and "Smart Charge" wells for handheld instruments. Key features include the EZ-Lock Brake Release for easy instrument positioning, programmable room lighting, and an integrated, unobtrusive cable system.

• EZ-Lock Brake Release: Allows for effortless, secure positioning of the slit lamp.

• "Smart Charge" Wells: Includes 3 wells for charging handheld instruments.

• Control Panel: Illuminated, liquid-proof membrane switch controls the chair, stand, and room lights.

• Lighting: Features a flexible, white LED overhead reading lamp.

• Design: Compact footprint with a new unobtrusive connector cable between the stand and chair.

• Instrument Support: Includes a Binocular Indirect Ophthalmoscope (BIO) hanger, connector, and intensity control.

• Optional Features: Available 3rd arm (fixed or articulated) and an optional CV mount kit for computerized refraction.
